Palogix was founded in 2004 in South Africa to service the citrus industry in the Ceres region. Since then we have  expanded to the major growing regions around the world including the U.S., Spain, and Chile while bringing our services to all the major fruit, vegetable and nut industries.  Palogix global rental operations have strategically positioned depots around the world located in key growing regions so that we bring transportation savings to our customers.  In addition, we allow customers to pick up bins and totes from other customers further reducing the total transportation costs.



In 2013 Palogix established a third-party logistics division, Palogix Supply Chain Services (PSCS) to service the automotive industry. The 3PL division quickly expanded into the consumer-packaged industry (CPG) and provides logistic engineering, brokerage for all modes of transport and warehouse services.



In 2019 Palogix established its IBC pool which services food processors in the U.S.  The IBC pool utilizes Palogix expertise in managing Returnable Reusable Transit Packaging and 3PL logistics. Customers pay a trip fee while Palogix manages both the delivery and return of the IBCs creating a closed loop allowing the customer to get a superior asset for a lower trip cost then their current one-way corrugated/wood pallet or competitor rental solution. Importantly, this unique solution embraces the growing responsibility for companies to deepen their commitment to Sustainability by utilizing Circular Economy solutions of returnable, reusable IBC’s. Our 3PL team continuously looks to drive savings as the customer volumes and lanes change. We never stop looking to bring value to our customers.

Using a consultative, collaborative and flexible approach, Palogix works with companies to develop innovative solutions that ensure the customer can focus on their core competencies and not have capital unnecessarily tied up in underutilized assets or be distracted by having to maintain, repair, clean and recycle these assets. 

Our Rental and Pooling Services allow customers to have the most up to date equipment available as and when they need it, and only pay on a variable basis such as a daily rental or per trip.



We supply products from all the major plastic manufacturing companies and have the flexibility to offer the best packaging solution to meet each customers unique needs. Our growth through our history is a direct result of our belief that customers will benefit financially from sharing assets in a rental pool vs owning those assets.  We also know that the management, repair, cleaning, and recycling of these assets can be done more efficiently by us and we offer these services to our clients cheaper than they could do it themselves. 



Finally, in keeping with our commitment to enhance sustainability and drive the circular economy, we believe the sharing of these assets by our customers vs. ownership helps the environment as pooling reduces the total number of containers created and transportation miles traveled which contributes to the sustainability of the Agri and Food Processing sectors. 



It is an exciting time to be involved in the transport and storage of bulk food and produce bins globally.  With our expansion we have positioned the company to take advantage of opportunities provided by new Bins, Totes, IBCs and Hybrid containers all over the world.

The use of large corrugated and wood containers and pallets to ship one-way will become more costly than reusable and returnable plastic alternatives and ultimately harm our environment.  New plastic containers which address these issues such as Hybrid bins and IBC bins will replace corrugated and wood bins and wood IBC’s. Palogix is at the forefront of driving circular economy solutions and sustainability by providing these new options.
